A QUINTA

Quinta da Vassala and Quinta da Vala Nova are located at Km 49 of National Road 1, north of Lisbon, in the municipality of Alenquer and the Lisbon Wine Region, forming a 400-hectare agricultural estate, 100 of which are dedicated to vineyards.

The property is situated to the east and at the foot of the Serra de Montejunto, and is therefore influenced by its microclimate, which results from the barrier it creates against Atlantic winds. This, combined with poor soil structure and the quality of the grape varieties planted, ensures a high standard of quality for the grapes produced here.

A propriedade está situada na base da Serra de Montejunto e é influenciada pelo microclima que resulta da barreira aos ventos atlânticos que, aliado a uma estrutura de solos pobres e à qualidade das castas instaladas, proporciona um elevado padrão de qualidade às uvas aqui produzidas.

In the cellar, with updated capacity and technology, we use the best winemaking methods that enhance the quality of the grapes produced on the property and obtain superior quality wines. All our wines, in addition to being produced here, are also bottled on the property.
